According to main article, which regulates liabilities between transportation parties, carrier is liable up to 8.33 SDR (10-11 eur) per damaged kilogram in front of customer. Regular carrier liability insurance covers only standard liability, but other loss is under customer responsibility.

We can take unlimited liability on cargo weight, but with maximum 500,000€ of total claim. Deductible fee 3,000€. This solution of higher carrier liability and damage (physical or temperature) should be done during the transportation by the carrier.
There is 2 main conditions, which must be fulfilled, that higher liability insurance would work:
1. Parties must have written agreement of higher liability.
2. Carrier must be informed about total value before loading and value must be written on CMR bill.

1. When, under the provisions of this Convention, a carrier is liable for compensation in respect of total or partial loss of goods, such compensation shall be calculated by reference to the value of the goods at the place and time at which they were accepted for carriage.
